Help and FAQ
Quick answers for members, people checking cards, organisations and local businesses.
No. Organisations and businesses pay. Members never pay anything in the app.
Your organisation sends you an invite. Download the app, sign in with the email they used, and add your photo. Your card goes live straight away.
A card only goes live once there’s a photo on it, so the person checking can see it’s really you.
Yes. One account holds every card you have: school, club, work, charity. Tap to switch between them.
Yes. Sign up yourself to see deals and loyalty cards. When an organisation adds you later, your card appears in the same account.
Let your organisation know. They manage the details on your card.
No. Point your phone camera at the code on their card. A page opens and tells you yes or no, right now.
The code changes every few seconds, so a screenshot or a photo of someone’s card won’t pass a check.
For adults, the organisation, their role, and the date their card is valid until. For under-18s, only the organisation and the valid-until date.
Don’t accept it. Ask them to open their live card in the app and try again. If it still doesn’t pass, their card may have been switched off.
Under-18s show the bare minimum when checked, never receive promotional messages, and never see anything age-restricted. If we don’t know someone’s age, we treat them as under 18.
For schools, the school manages every student’s profile, using details from its own records.
Most organisations are up and running in an afternoon. Add people one at a time or bring them in from a list, then send the invites.
Switch their card off in the dashboard. It stops working everywhere, straight away.

Yes. Any deal from an advertiser can be hidden from your members at any time.
Buy advertising credits, then list your deal. A 30-day local deal costs 99 credits at launch. Credit bundles start at $20.
No. Credits never expire, however you got them.
Advertisers can’t. Sponsors of clubs and tertiary providers can send offers to adult members who’ve said yes to messages.
Yes. See our ad rules for what’s never allowed.
